I used the loweing kit from J&P, got it online for 99.99$. I Just had Harley install, saved me about 200+$, so that was good. It turns the Softails "soft" ride into a ride thats a little less forgiving with the bumps; but i like it a lot. Sitting lower on the bike is way better IMO.
And i know im not "done" yet, im sure ill never be done. But for now, going on deployment soon and not having money is holding me up.
I do agree that i need new grips/boards/shifter and break pedal. I even know the ones im going to get. Now i just gotta play the waiting game!
