Default 95 FLSTC and True Duals??

Can it be done?

My dad is saying no it cant be done because there is not enough room. Our mechanic says it cant be done unless someone specifically makes it for my bike because of the frame being in the way??

ANyone have a 95 FLSTC with true duals that were not custom made?

theres a lot of true dual options out there for your bike. heres a few of the Samson true dual setups that will work . I suggest calling them for even more options.

p.s. you might consider a new mechanic.

Well let me rephrase. I just talked to my dad and he said it can be done, but I would have to change my shifter linkage and my shifter arm. I would not be able to just buy a set of pipes and throw them on like I did my V&H big shot staggereds.

I think thats what the mechanic was sayin to. He is a hell of a mechanic and knows his stuff inside out and backwards. he has redone 4 of my dads bikes and 2 of my moms and is now rebuilding mine.

let me rephrase as well.

Yes there are a number of manufacturers who make true dual exhaust systems that will bolt on to your motorcycle. You might have to change the linkage to your shifter but that is no big deal.

Well I appreciate your assistance. I wish I had my scooter in front of me so I could take a pic or something and show you what I am talking about.

Hell even I am clueless what they are talking about and its my bike.

They are teling me there is a post in between my motor and transmission that would be in the way and I would have to again change the shifter arm and linkage.

There again i am clueless and if it can be done than I want true duals.

Your seat post is in the way, but most exhaust kits have a fix for that.
