I had a Power Commander on my Busa with a aftermarket pipe and air filter. The PC was a BIG PITA and I would not encourage anyone to use them. If there are other products that people have used and recommend than you should consider them.
I went with the TMax. Can't say cause it's not installed yet. Not quite riding weather here yet either. I also considered the TTS. I went with the TMax cause the guy installing it just went to a big seminar. Guess I'll find out. I'll post good or bad in the near future. Pipes and Big Sucker are to be here tomorrow.
The ground is still white here. Gonna be a week or two at least.
well i was looking at the company called Fuel Moto...and they have the PC3 with a free download that is plug and play...i would really love the TTS but its a little bit pricey for me right now...i dont plan on doing any serious modifications to the bike at the moment....just pipes and air cleaner....and of course a tune of some sort so it can function properly....is the PC3 that bad that it is not worth getting? I know a hell alot about tuning on cars but i get wild with those...the xbones is my cruiser...its just seriously lacking a pair of nuts!
for the money the pc3 is the best bet... i have been using them for years on my race bikes and harleys... fuel moto is a great place to buy from..
like i said earlier i guess its about the same as tuning cars...if you want an all out program you would go with a FAST system (comparible to the TTS)...then you have your burnt chips like SCT and Diablo (comparible to the PC3)....i think the PC3 or 5 will work great for what i want then...i seriously dount i'm ever gonna open the motor anytime soon...but if i do then i'll definately go with the TTS...
