Just got a call from my daughter, and my son-in-law just rode his Heritage Softail home from the Ford dealer. It's a 2006, not a scratch or mark on it, one owner, (old fart) was her description, pearl black, 13,100 miles for $12,500. He's so excited he can't stand it, but I'm just wondering if he got a good deal or not. Not that I'm going to say anything to him, cause he couldn't be happier. But I thought he might be able to get a newer model with less mileage, for close to the same price... Haven't been into softails for years, so please, provide your thoughts. All are welcome.
i think he got a very good deal. i have a 2005 standard when i bought it last year i paid 12.5k for it granted it only had 1600 miles. my brother was looking at a 2006 heritage with 17k miles for 15900 i thought that was steep! any mods to the bike?
a new edition to your family...and a harley at that...could you be any prouder...lol...had an '02 heritage and loved it ...i think he did good...tell him congrats and to ride safe
