Default passenger peg removal?

I have an 09 deluxe and am wanting to remove the passenger pegs and stems.
The pegs are easy enough to remove but the stems look like quite a job.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Easy - I just used a pair of vise-grips to unscrew them.

Thanks for the reply

The peg bolts don't seem to be a problem but removing the arm which is attached to the frame is a little tricky.
Cant seem to find how to remove them.

One the peg is off you will have access to the bolt behind it. It's generally a torx head bolt. Remove it, it allows the spacer and peg clevis to come right off.
