Question Slam Kit for Rocker C

I,m trying to get some answers on lowering my rocker c since I'm only 5'6" and just make the ground seated. Harley has lowering kits except for the rockers. Is it a warranty issue? Will adjusting the preload suspension as stated in the owners manual using a spanner wrench lower it for me? I see arlen ness has part #17-100 bolts to slam it but just wondering if it will lead to a potential of bottoming out damaging the fender if I am riding 2 with the pullout pillion seat?

Did you also lower the front? Does it affect the ride handling if you only lower the rear?

I used the ness kit recomended my mike, thank u mike!!!!

no adjusting the shocks pre load with the spanner will not lower your bike.
it adjusts the pre load (makes the springs tighter or softer)
when you increase the load( you will have to, to double ride) it will ride stiffer.

progressive springs will be even stiffer. any time you lower a bike the ride will suffer.

did you try "mean city cycles" they can rework your seat & lower it for you, and your bike will still ride the same. good luck.

I'm 5,9" and found changing the seat made the most difference, I went with the ness kit...
