Default removing slip ons from header pipes, HELP!!

Wow, those nuts are on tighter than,,,,you know what. Trying to remove the stock slip ons from the header pipes. The whole exhaust is removed from the bike. Probably the first mistake. Well, no going back now....
The exhaust bands are attached with a 9/16" bolt, and a standard craftsman wrench is not budging them, even with Mr. hammer. Screw is to long to us a standard wrachet. So, tomorrow I'm gonna getta a extended version.

I figured from past experience is I may need to heat the bolts, well, no luck this time.
Lessons learned, and imput.... before I throw them through a window.
ha, ha, ha...... Im no wrench.....but havin a blast learnin.............thanks for any feed back.

You will need a deep set socket. Once you loosen the torca clamp, move the muffler up and down to open up the split in the muffler ends.

At work I use an air ratchet, makes things so easy. I would hate to have to go back to primitive tools again, lol.

for stubborn bolts i give then a crack. on top with a good size punch & hammer. just a fast quick tap to break the seal.not to hard to break it thought. works for me every time.its just what i do if not comfortable with this don't do it. i wouldn't do this on engine bolts.
