Yes, elongating the holes is all that was needed to retain the use of the stock fender.
When ordering a new 21" wheel BE SURE to order it for a Rocker NARROW GLIDE. The spokes are very close to the caliper. I had looked at changing the wheel spacing to gain clearance, than I looked at milling the caliper and decided against both. I will call Sam at RW Monday and inquire about this. I know a 21" mag wheel would not propose a problem. The owner of the bike REALLY wants this wheel on his bike for Daytona so he suggested I "Clearance" the caliper. I did just that and it doesn't look bad at all. It looks similar to the front side of the caliper with the silver insert in it. I'm going to pick up some black wrinkle paint and touch the caliper up, I've used the silver before and it worked well.
awesome job bro. i can't believe everyone else but me is having such an easy time installing new front wheels on their rockers. i keep getting the wrong hub sets.....it's bullsh***.
