just getting ready to install my heartland lights on the rear. quick questions: which way does the spacer bung go? it has a little notch for the wires, does that go against the light or against the fender? how are the wires run so they don't get pinched? whats the tricks?
nobody?? c'mon guys with these lights, help me out
thanks
I have the lights but havent put them on yet..............but the notch would go against the fender or they should have given you some brackets, the lights mount on...............if you didnt get em just call heartland and they will send em too ya for free.............how are you wiring them up.........just blinker, or the run/brake/turn function.................looking for pics on the wiring, the stock blinkers only have two wires and the heartland has three

i got the brackets, don't think i am going to use them. they only have one hole on each end, no hole for the wires.
my rocker has 6 wires for each rear light, but the heartland lights only have three. I tried every wiring scheme i could think of to get them to work properly, but they wouldn't. i had to get a badlands illuminator, which finally came. my lights will be used for run, stop, and turn.
i need to look at them closer, but it seems like the wires would get pinched going through holes in fender, or even the bracket they send.
I think im gonna put shrink tube on the wires to help prevent the pinch.......my fenders out for paint so i cant drill a hole in the fender anymore..............you have six lights for each light, wow, wut would they all be ........ground,running,blink,brake,?.......
