axle mount license plate holder problem
ok so new to the forum figured why not start my forum life with a problem .. I have a side mounted license plate holder I got from my local dealer its made by v-twin manufacturing and I am having the biggest problem with having no thread to work with .. now before you say it , yes I did take out the stock adjustment washer and spacer but I still need to gain 3/8 of thread to feel safe. I have heard that there is a nut you can buy to replace the stock one that will fix the problem if so can anyone point me to a place online that sells it ... thanks for your help love the forum ...

I had the same problem and had to buy a longer axle, I got it off of another forum member, it was 3/4 longer than the factory axle, you may have to just look around, I believe j & p cycles sells them
