that is a real good one...I think they all do better than the harley one...not because they are better but because the dealer does not want to tune it like it should because they will break the emissions law and do not want to get sued!!!!

There are a thousand management systems out there and choosing has been a big process. Basically every one i ask recommends the thundermax.?
Does any one have any experience with the thundermax in combination with the RSE.
that thunder max is a great unit. the auto tune feature totally eliminates the dealer. on that same note the NEW power commander V has that option now as well....
Does this mean once the thundermax with auto tune is installed there is no longer a need to dyno you bike.
How does it work.?
Is there a generic map that you can use that will read what pipes and air intake you are running.?
Sorry for the lame questions.
Those guys are great. After looking at that I worked with them on one that would cover the whole thing since the face of the filter is filter material too I just wanted to cover that portion of the AC as well as the outer radius just in case. They have it in their data base and can make it again they said.
Guys, I sell a ton of the tmax's (many customers here on the board) and they rock. I have sold about twenty of the RSD intakes, and they are a very nicely made unit. I am putting one on the Road Glide I am building. They are a nicely machined like everything PM does. You cant go wrong with this intake, let me know if I can help.
the auto tune feature automatically adjusts but you have to put in parameters that are close to what you have.
the power commander V with the optional auto tune does this as well

I'm not sure Low. I called and did this all over the phone, paid with my CC and had no problems. I hear ya about giving out your info though. I'd just give them a call and talk to them they were all really nice all the times I had to call them.
