Dang bro I aint never heard craziness like that, dont know much about a TT tuner, is that one of those closed loop self tuners? Call them, even Freedom,
where did you get your perf #'s or dyno results, they didnt know either, hell call someone, and if they cant help call 911 cause you got robbed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
63.99 hp to 75.41 and 78.16 to 87.36 tq with just rush slipons. sounds like your dyno tune was just a dyno run. how could yo take the bike with numbers like that? Did it cost about 400 for the dyno tune?
I really can't believe that your exhaust would cause you to have lower numbers from stock. I'm sure you would lose a little hp & tq from the exhaust you choose but no way would should it be less than stock #'s after a dyno tune. I would say take it back and tell them to get it right. But you would probably be better off finding a different tuner. That sucks dude! No way a good tuner would have let your bike leave his shop with those numbers. How many runs did they pull on the dyno?
Hell I gained 10 hp over stock with rhinehart true duels, stage 1 cleaner, and pc no dyno tune. I would bet you have a way less than optimal air/fuel mix. I would suspect its the pc.
If your exhaust is turning brown, its because you are too lean and when a motor runs lean, it loses some power. See if you can't dial in a little more fuel, that will cool the exhaust down and probably give you more power. Good luck with getting the color out of your pipes. I personally never had any luck at it.
There is something missing here. Removing the stock mufflers and air filter and adding stage1 filter and pipes you wont loose power and torque if the map is close to being right or the dyno and operater are wrong
When I first got my stage one installed with the pipes, of course it was during breakin the fuel milage sucked bad. When I went in for my 500 mile checkup, I said something about it needless to say there was a major change in the fuel milage when I came home.
