How low can you go? I saw sparks and I seem to remember that there was resistance on the way down. I'm not crazy: I think that was low enough for me!

So I can buy new ones with more chrome and matches for my new grips? That could be fun!

You're making me spend money again, Jimmers1817!

Yea, they all fold up...they're stiff from the factory, but all it took was to force them up one time by hand and they were good to go afterwards.

Wait til you add Goodies Floorboard extensions. A very good product, makes riding much more comfortable - but - scraping happens even more often...

I had a heritage for 14 years when I sold it, it had no outside floor boards left, don’t worry just keep on leaning & have fun.
When your floor boards wear out it just means you are more skilled and have more b@*s then your ridding buddies,
Drag e’m sparks look cool too. If you’re ever in New England I will be glad to show you where the twisties are

I have them and haven't found scraping to be a problem. But that may be because I'm a conservative rider.

They are definitely one of the best things I've done for my bike. Wouldn't think putting the boards out an inch would make that much of a difference in comfort but it does. The stock position just didn't seem to agree with the natural placement of my feet.

Now that's the pot calling the kettle black.
Who was the one that posted the great deal on the chrome front end?

Are your boards so tight that you can't pull them up with your hand? Mine are snug but I can lift them manually.

They fold, but may need to be adjusted as others have said. You can go a little more, but soon you'll reach the bracket that holds the floorboards and the rear will start to lift.

simple fix with some grade bolts, but even they don't last long if you drag a lot.

It surprised me on the first ride with them installed. I scraped two times within a few blocks of my property on corners I have never scraped before... Despite this, they are staying on the bike
