Question about pipes
I have a question about upgrading the pipes on my 08 Heritage - I am a complete noob so forgive me if it is stupid.
When changing to new pipes, is it necessary to replace the air intake at the same time, and also modify and remap the fuel system?
thanks for any feedback
cheers

Most post that I have read say if pipes only then u are ok,
when pipes and ac then FM is needed.
the 96 will still run hot and that is why a lot of guys go ahead and do FM at the same time.
I did for that reason when I got the 07 bike..

What kind of pipes are you thinking of upgrading to. If you're just going with nothing larger than 1.75 slipons w/ no changes to the intake you're safe. Go larger or change a/c, the general concensus will likely be that you need a fuel manager.
If you just want the looks and sound, no.
If you are after a performance upgrade that a good aftermarket pipe can provide, yes.
