Default Softail help

I have a 95 softail with a regular speedometer I am wanting to convert to digital. I am wanting to know if I can do this and if so what needs to be done. Thanks

You can have a hole drilled in the transmission case in the same spot as a 96 and later and use the HD speed sensor. Or you can call Dakota Digital. They sell a speed sensor that bolts on back of their speedometer, and uses the original style cable with a mod to the cable nut on the speedometer end or a new cable. The nut size may be different. I just did this last year.
