Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but do any of you have any good info on pipes? I have a 2004 softail and want it to be a little louder... little better pickup too, but mostly louder. Where would you point me to learn about what is out there, what to consider, pros and cons of different types, etc? I'm figuring I'll go with slip ons, but...???
Ya can advise me here or email me at tlcprn@gmail.com, if you could. Gotta know what the hell I'm talking about if I'm gonna convince the spousoid.
Thanks in advance!

Bex, this is a very controversial subject, but if you want my 2 cents and many will agree with me & some will not but Rush Racing slipon mufflers are the best bang for the buck. just remember when looking the smaller the number of the baffle size the quieter the sound, I used to use the 2.25 baffle before i moved on to strait pipes and they were louder than my Samson slashers. A good place to look for some is "Phat performance parts". Hope this helps.
