Finally sat on one

P.S. They wouldn't budge on the price but they are throwing in a $1000 Harley gift card and $100 off of my first service.
shop around, there are a lot of dealers hurting out there at the moment and they will budge....remember you are the one that has the money and they are the ones that need the money.
shop around...if you find a better offer at another stealer you can always go back to your prefered one (prob cause of location) and see if they will not match the better offer.
Gift card is good. they can do better than $100 off the first service, and they can def do better than that on the msrp!
Also see if you can get them to waive the "Road Ready Charge" of $1000. that is bull that charge...ok there are taxezs and such in there but all they are doing is charging you an arm and leg for the oil and quick check they do, so work on them about that too.
and remember, be nice and firm, they need you more than you need the,.
P.S. don't worry about the size and weight of the softail...they have great low point of gravity and handle easy, I would not be surprised if you find that it handles as nimble if not more than your shadow
