The main question I have, (not to highjack this thread) does a solo seat move you more forward?

The buttcrack doesn't move you forward, just down a couple of inches.

Was interested in what these seats look like myself so here are the pictures. I like the Danny Gray myself.

mustang says their seat wont move you up or forward. I took measurements and they are correct. The problem was I was sitting on the back part of the stock seat instead of where the back is supposed to be. that is the chrome plate. so if the part behind that plate was more upward I would not be sitting on it. It did not seem like I was doing that until I got passenger on and they keep pushing me forward. So the answer is no but your sitting style may change with the change of a seat.

Thanks for the info, I would rather be back an inch than forward an inch or so. I ride solo most of the time but do know what you are saying about being pushed forward with a rider.

That's what I have and am looking for a new seat. I rode to Reno and back from north of Seattle and it hurt to sit for a week. On the trip back I was stopping every 45 minutes it hurt so bad. Looks cool though. Probably about as low and far back as you can go by just changing the seat.

I'm looking for a solo too, but LePera is the only company I spoke to that will modify the nose of the seat to accommodate my raised tank-panel. C & C pleasantly declined, and the HD won't work. Anyone have any suggestions?

Got to admit, I probably did sacrifice comfort for good looks but I was looking for a real low profile seat to go with the look I was after. Im good for 1 1/2 hours before I need a rest stop. On the other hand the stock seat on my Fatboy is great and I can go all day. Just depends on what you are after.
