here are some pics of my 03 night train. over the winter i add the chrome sliders, chrome sprocket cover and guards, a different air filter cover, and just today i put on the fin derby cover. my question is should i add the fin chain inspection cover too???
i know some people out there won't like my bike because it's a night train and has some chrome on it. i wanted alittle bit of both worlds (dark and chrome). and it's not all show it goes too.
On the fins....Its subjective but the bikes I have seen with both covers all finned up look OK.
I went with a chrome Old #7 cover with a chrome inspection cover and immediately pulled both of them off and sold them in the classifieds section and made the move back to stock wrinkle coated Inspection cover and black old#7 cover. Much better IMO..Then again I also have way to much chrome!!!
I think these Trains almost have to be be lowered to complete the look.
chazmanian, what handle bars do you have on your bike??? and do you like them more than the drag bars?? and also what kit did you use to lower your bike??
