Does anybody have the RSD Velocity stack intake on a fuel injected softail? if so, id like to hear the pros and cons of it...i wouldnt mind getting rid of the football on my night train..
But, in the JP Cycles catalog, there is a note: For race or show applications ONLY
There must be a reason for this, and I have a pretty good guess what it is... Better off getting the RSD Venturi, at least that's the route I'm going...
Yeah, I'd be careful. Look very nice. Had one in my hands and took a look at it when it was being installed at my buddy's shop. Very small filter. Not sure how functional it will be... sucking in alot of crap into the motor is not a good thing. Was also thinking on getting RS Venturi A/C, which I also had in my hands (really nice looking and would look great on my scoot) but opted for J.E.T Airstack with Round HD Cover...
i do agree that the venturi looks great, and thats the route i will prolly go...but i saw a velocity stack on a night train at the local dealership, which is the main reason i was asking
I ran a stack on my deuce 2 years ago looked cool as hell did get some **** in the carb but the worst was it got in the way wile riding kept hitting my iner knee on it sucked
I'm running one and I like it... Everyone always has something to say about running a velocity but hell...I have some friends that own a chopper shop here in Hawaii and all the bikes that come out of there are running V-Stacks they said just don't let water get in it. Oh yah I'm carbed but I don't think it would matter on the fitment.
