I have the yellow one from Harbor Freight. I was on my way home with the Craftsman jack, stopped in to HF, and changed my mind. After reading about the Craftsman, its impossible to get replacement parts, and the hydraulics on it are suspect at best. Replacement parts for the HF jack are always available, if needed. It is far more sturdy than the Craftsman, and cheaper, on sale.

Sorry to hijack, I know your thread was about the Larin, which I know nothing about, but my softy is lowered nearly 2" and I can still get the HF jack under it just fine. Just wanted to give you something to think about. I've had it 2 years and am very pleased. Think I paid $70 for it on sale... It says 'collapses to 4 1/2"" but that is the lowest locking position. It goes lower than that for initial lift.
