looking at both of them and cant decide any input? 07 hritage 8k 14,000 08 x bones 3k 15,400? help

Alright, I have THEE answer:

X-Bones: My bike. I love this bike. It looks extremely bada@@. I actually love the way it drives despite some people thinking Springer front ends are no good. The mini apes are perfect. I love the seat, but I do feel I sit on the bike rather than in the bike. I am keeping bags and windshield off of it, but I am planning a long road trip this summer.
The verdict: This bike is the essence of motorcycle cool

Heritage: My wife's bike. She loves this bike. It is filled with chrome and looks classic. This bike will look classic 50 years from now. It comes tour-ready and has proved itself every year since we bought it 2 years ago. She had it lowered and the seat shaved so you sit in this bike and it is extremely easy to ride.
The verdict: You can strip it down or keep it full of goodies.

My point: What bike moves you when you see it? I think if you were honest with yourself you would already know what the answer is.

 

they both move me the problem is it changes when i think of what i want to do with it very confusing damn!

 

Tough decision! I havent ridden the x bones yet but I love the look for sure.
That being said i know it wouldnt due for the riding we do. We get 6 months at best and we ride lots during that time each year

We have an 06 SG with a mild stage II and an 07 heritage we bought from someone down on their luck with tons of extra's over and above the chrome it comes stock with. BAgc come off easy( easier with a kit) and shield snaps off also. Ours now has passenger floorboards and a quick disconnect backrest. Stripped sown cleaner look. COuple of minutes...ready for a trip again! 1 or 2 UP. My wife, Keeper rides it mostly but i love getting on that thing and riding it! BTW...it's our second heritage!

I was in the same predicament...I went with the Heritage because I use it as a daily driver (unless it's raining). I'm in the Navy and I carry stuff to and from work almost every day. Plus, I liked the classic Harley styling and the extras (windshield, backrest, bags, etc) that come with it. The bike just LOOKS like a Harley...no mistaking it. On the other hand, I think the CrossBones and Night Train are the the most eye-catching bikes that Harley makes and if I wasn't hauling gear to work, thinking about really long road trips, or riding 2-up with the girlfriend, I would have probably gone with either the Train or the XBones. I just don't like either bike with bags or windshields...just doesn't do it for me. My next bike will be a completely blacked-out Night Train for sure. I would test ride them both, but most people I know have already made their decision before they get to the dealership because a certain bike catches their eye. Good luck with the decision! Go with your gut and you won't go wrong.

 

Man, thats tough. I have a Heritage and I love it! ...but the wife rides with me a lot plus I pack stuff in the bags and ride to work and around town, etc. ..and the windsheild is REALLY a plus for heavy riding. I must say if I was more of a solo rider, I would buy the x-bones, and put some of those old school looking saddlebags on the side. It just looks so tough like that! I wish I could have two bikes. ...but I dont like a windsheild on a x-bones. Tough choice! I would think about what kind of riding you will be doing and if you will be solo or not. You can set up the bones with a sissy, but not as comfy on the long hauls like a heritage.

 

I've owned a couple of heritages over the years and they are an all around good bike...for long hauls or just around town.
