Default Measurement Help

Can someone with a detachable sissy bar on a 06 or later FX Softail please measure the the distance between the the plates. I also need the distance from the center of the two holes. The second measurement would be just measing the distance between the holes on one of the detachable brackets. The first measurement is inside of one plate to the inside of the other with the bar attached. This must be off of a bike with the 200 rear. Thanks

do you have a sissy bar on the bike at the moment?
or do you have a custom rear fender?

if you have an existing sissybar mounted and the fender has the standard holes the plates and bolts of the detachable kit will just fit right on, replacing the existing plates and bolts.

If you don't have a sissy yet, then you just need a sissybar that fits your tire size, the holes should be standard.

now if you have custom fender with no holes and so forth then it will get a lot tougher.

when I get home I will check out my service manual and see what it says about the measurements.

I found one that someone has for sale. They aren't sure what it fits. I have measured the stock custom sissy and it is close. I want the measurements from someone that has a detachable on a 06 or later FXST

The distance from center of one hole to the center of the other on the mounting points is 10 1/4"

The distance from inside to inside of the detachable bracket is 11 1/8" Outside to outside is 11 3/8"

This is on my 2007 FXST.
