I have been wanting a chrome left hand tool box for my 2009 deluxe.

Went to the dealer today and harley are not manufacturing them for anything past a 2007 model.
Does not make much sense to me.?

My question is does anyone know of a 3rd party box that will fit an 09 or even a bracket that i can purchase that will fit a standard tool box.

Thanks for any light you may be able to shed on this.

 

those tool boxes also said they would not fit a Deuce, guess what. there wrong! buy one if you can't make it work ebay it.

I would bet 64230-08 will fit. go and measure the top mounting holes and see. My dealer would take it back provided i did not destroy the box or scratch the part. either way I bet you could modify the mounting bracket to make it fit. If it will fit a fatboy I do not see why it will not fit yours. I guess you have floorboards, maybe something to do with that.

i got one on a 09 bones.
the floorboards are gone.

 

I looked into getting one for the wife's 08 Deluxe and was told the same thing by two different dealers. Must be a good reason so if you find a work around post back and let us know what it was.
