keep us posted on this speedo dude !!! how much farther then the stock speedo is this going to stick out on top of the tank?

You are right Turbo based on the measurements from dakota and the recess in the dash, it should fit almost flush with the recess of the dash.. Look at the the last pics of my bike, it should give you and idea.. All I need is some money for a tach and two solid days, neighbor has lathe and milling machine in garage, just found that out last week...

i hear ya on the finance manager...lol tell her you found it for 25%off, free shipping, she'll bite. ive' been laying out the ground work, the last couple years, for the "2'nd" bike plan. buddy of mine has a line on low mile lease "cop bikes". really good deals. most are 103" w/6 speeds. different gearing. good runners. thats my plan.
