HELP!! Installing DFI
I installed my dual fistail pipes, and a new air intake. But i have no idea how to install the DFI. Where are the cables? Do I have to remove the tank or the air breather? I really don't want to f*&% this up.

Ok I will try to explain...
You will need to lift the back of the tank.
First disconnect the fuel line where it connects to the tank,
do this by pushing up on the chrome collar while pushing
up on the fuel line, (works like a quick disconnect air hose end).
Then take the torx screw out at the rear of the tank, lift and
support the rear of the tank with a block of wood or something.
Be careful how high you go, watch the front of the tank so that
it does not hit anything. Now you should be able to get to the connectors
on the injectors, they look the same as the ones on the DFO. Push in
on the wire clips and pull up. Connect the injector plugs to the matching
connectors in the DFO harness, then plug the DFO harness connectors
to the injectors, do one at a time so you do not get #1 & #2 crossed.
I does not matter which connector set on the DFO you use but use
the same set for the same injector. then place the wires neatly under
the tank with the main harness to the DFO going out with the rest
of the wires that are coming out from under the tank. Then hook
the black wire with the "eye" end to one of the 2 bolts on the frame
at the end of the tank by the battery, put the DFO some where out of the way
under the seat, I have a softail and mine is on top of the bikes ECM (computer)
set the dials on your DFO and that should be all...
Go to www.dobeckperformance.com for more
information, they sell the TFI but it is the same as the DFO.
Good Luck
