I have a 2006 Fat Boy and have BSS. I don't mind the stock baffles but they are a little loud at times. I would like any thoughts or opinions anyone has regarding their experience with Quiet Baffles. Thanks.
I have a set of them and they are a little quieter than the baffles that came with the exhaust. They also have a slightly deeper tone. They are a PIA to install since they are wrapped in fiberglass and are hard (not impossible) to turn if the screw hole doesn't line up...hope this helps
I have them in my bike. Like the sound better than the stock baffels in the BSS. They are not much quieter but deeper sounding. Seat of the pants they feel like they added a little tq in the lower range too.
Mine were easy to install, wrapped the packing tighter with a little scotch tape and they slid right in the tape burns up after a short ride.

+1. Wrap with tape first and pay attention to where the holes need to line up. Not a big deal then. Better deep sound, not much quieter though...
I picked up the QB's a couple of days ago. Just tried taking out the the old baffles and the screw that I was taking out got stripped. Any ideas on how to remedy this problem besides taking off the whole exhaust?
I like the thought of the deeper tone but by all accounts it also quiets the pipes a bit and I'm pleased with the standard baffles. I am curious though and will listen to the quiet baffles and maybe that'll change my mind? When I had my 03 Silverado I went with the stainless Magnaflow mufflers over the Flowmasters because they had a deeper tone. So I bet when I hear the quiet baffles that I end up getting them.
