Default Fatboy Fender Height

This may seem a little odd but Im getting ready to lower my 2000 Fatboy. After looking at the distance between the tire and fender I'm thinking it may already be lowered with the factory lowering shocks. Cant read the numbers on the shock cans to reference the numbers. So if someone could measure the height from the ground to the bottom of the fender and let me know what they come up with so I can get a ruff estimate. Either at the rear of the fender or from the side.

Also while looking at the fender the fender comes down just to where the tread turns to sidewall if you know what I mean

Thanks

Im at work so I cant measure the fender, but it sounds like your bike is already lowered at least 1 ". I lowered my bike 1.5" and from the side the fender (just below the center strut to fender bolt) is a little below the point where the thread meets the side wall of the tire.

This is the only side picture I have a work, bike is about 1.5" lower than stock using Progressive 422 shocks.

the one in the sig is lowered 1" using the HD lowering shocks. The shocks that come standard with the Deluxe and FB Screaming Eagle bikes.
