rear fender help rwd longshot
I can never leave anything stock. Therefore I have changed out almost everything on my 00 Fatboy. The front fender is Fat Kats chicago. I purchased a undrilled Russ Wernimont longshot rear fender. I am trying to make the fender set even between the struts and the tire. The rwd fender is not as tall as the stock fatboy fender. When I positioned it in the close to correct position I have about an inch and a half gap between the top of the fender and the bottom of the seat. My bike is not lowered. Could I just lower the bike and everything come together? How much do people usually lower softails before the ride goes to ****?

I had the same issues trying to fit a similar fender,never could make it right.I was able to bend the back of my seat down closer to the fender,but lowering the bike wont close that gap it will just put the tire up further in the fender.I ended up extending my stock fender to get the desired length
