Default chrome frame inserts

I noticed that are two plastic caps in there on the right side. so what did you guys do. pop them out or just leave them in.do they come out easy enough?.

cut holes out in the two sided tape they give to stick the inserts to your frame..that way the tape lays flat and theres no bumps from the plastic tabs
