Something bugs me about looking at the sides of my black and chrome Glide and seeing those amber reflectors staring me in the face I tried doing a search on the forum for "reflectors" but didn't get any hits, not sure if that's because it's never been discussed or because the search engine is having problems. Anyway, wondering what you guys have done, remove them completely? Replace them with some kind of filler piece? I see Kuryakyn has some chrome grilles that go over them, but I'm trying to play them down rather than spice them up. Getting the chrome grilles and painting them black is an option I'm considering, but wanted to see if anyone here has a better idea Thanks!
Aren't they just stuck on with double sided tape? Get a hair dryer, warm them up, then slide a piece of fishing line under it and saw it off. Then clean the rest with lighter fluid or goo-gone. It's not a big deal, just will take a little time to get all the residue off.

Are they? I wondered about that, I checked last night and didn't see any fasteners on the back of the frame rails. I figured maybe they were mounted to studs or something. If they're just stuck on with tape then I'll just take them off. Thanks!
Double sided tape. They came over of mine the same time the stickers on the air cleaner and bag protector bars came off. If someone misses their headlights on all of that chrome, a reflector ain't gonna make the difference IMO.
I felt the same way so I removed all the reflectors. Warmed it up with hairdryer, used fishing line to saw behind the reflector to remove it then used Goo Gone to get rid of residue.
I then used that tape they use on ghost police cars. It appears black until light hits it then it reflects.
Look on the saddlebag guards in the picture and back of tour pack
I also replaced the amber lenses with smoked ones, the amber just really stuck out on the black.
Thanks for the info guys, appreciate it! Booch, nice-looking ride and that's a great idea with the black reflective tape I was looking for pics earlier of black saddlebags with the edge-cut latches because I'm planning on getting those, so you killed two birds with one stone for me
