Some versions require connecting the grey wire from the speedo to the kit so that you don't have a continual low fuel indicator on the 'dash'.

You might be able to pull the wires from those Delphi connectors using a 'gentle' touch but I would bet that it would take more luck than careful handling to not ruin the connector's ability to hold the new connections under road vibration, etc. These pins work on a 'chinese finger trap' principal so that when they are inserted they won't come back out. You should use a special tool to insert in the Delphi connector that lets the pin come out freely.

You forgot one VERY important step. DISCONNECT THE FUEL LINE FIRST any time you move the tank or you WILL break it and no one likes to have to pay $50 for a new line for a stupid mistake.

If you would like to post that in the DIY Cheap thread, go for it. I know its NOT cheap, but it is a DIY and there are an awful lot of guys looking for exactly that kind of info. If its there at least it will be handy to find and link to later.
I'll add a note to it later stating that I asked you to do it so you don't get a bunch of crap for putting it in thre.
But I will ask you to do it with bigger pics the way anubiss told you about.
Those little thumbnails are nice, but bigger pics are much better.

I used a paper clip and pair of needle nosed pliers. Worked just fine and didn't cost anything.

Nice write-up - that is my next mod. Also, thanks Anubisss for the "101" on posting the full size image in the thread - was wondering how to do that.
