Default flstc connectors

I have a set of 12.5 chubbys that have internal wiring already done. They were off a road king, my question is... ARE THE CONNECTORS FOR THE SWITCHES THE SAME BETWEEN THE HANDLEBARS AND THE BIKE FROM A ROAD KING TO A HERITAGE?
I have'nt taken my bike apart yet to see, just looking for some input from fellow riders and wrench turners.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not think they are the same. The RK has cruise and the Heritage does not. I may be wrong, as I have not compared them side by side either. If they are cheap enough, I would buy them and make them work.

I think it might also depend on the years of the bikes. Only one way to find out for sure. Tear that sucker apart.

The rk classic comes from the factory with cruise. The others do not. You will be able to use them, as long as they have the same connectorsIE deutsh/deutsh or molex/molex. If you have different connectors, you will need different pins. If it has cruise, eliminate it and get the proper switch housings.

I just thought of something. You will have to extend the wires, unless there is a lot of slack. The connectors run into the nacelle on a rk, the connectors on the heritage run under the fuel tank. Unless he added a lot of slack, you may have to extend.

Thx for the info. I looked in the service manual and I think the connectors are the same(duetsch 6 pin) on the bike, and what is on the bars. Also there is about a 8-10 inches of slack at the end of the wires.
The guy i bought them from was an idiot so I dont exactly know if they truely were from a rk.

I should be tearing her down in a week, just soon as I get my other items needed.

Pics to follow....
