installing midframe covers

just recently purchased some midframe covers for my deluxe. originally i thought installing them would be really easy. now, i think it is more complicated. just curious if anyone has installed these or has advise. thanks.

Not sure what you are talking about. are you talking about the chrome covers that fit along the frame rails under your seat?

yup, pretty sure they call them mid-frame covers.

sorry wasn't sure what they called them. helped put them on my buddys heritage with no problem! what was the problem?

havent done it yet, waiting for chrome strut bolts to show up. im pretty sure that the strut bolts need to come out too, or at least a few of them. anyway, i have a springer seat on my deluxe, so im not sure if that will change how the covers fit. but i am very anxious to install them.
