Anyone do this ? The directions say to pry up the plastic channel to install the well nuts. Seems like the channel won't move far enough to do this. Also , once you get the well nuts in, how do you get the screws tightened? The well nuts are rubber with a threaded insert and a rubber hub. Can you get enough force on the screws to hold the piece in place solid? Do they move around or vibrate?
Also , if you have installed the neck+down tube covers, let me know what you think. I have only seen pictures, and not very good ones. Do they look cool and how is the fitment?
Go with the directions, they are correct... It does seem like the channel wont move far enough but a little gentle pressure it will be enough. I did this install last year, little pain in the butt but doable, especially in comparison to this years projects... And yes it looks good of course it looks good its chrome. Make sure you get the front down tube and neck covers they complete the package! Ride safe!!!

That pot-metal garbage isn't worth 50 bucks. I have the mid covers and the deluxe downtube covers and i have to say, not a good product at all. they just steal from our pockets a little more.
On the topic of the mid covers, anyone know how to make your paintedside covers fit flush once the chome is on? the front corner sticks out now, drives me NUTS!
