I am looking at buying Inner primary Chrome cover and Cylinder base also???Just purchased lower Fork covers also. Are these products Good??Was told they make all the parts for Harley, but they are packaged here????Are these worth the time and effort??Going on a Roadking. Thanks Ken
The products you are speaking of will look great, I personally don't put anything on my bike that would help to retain any heat getting away from the motor. Great choice in products and if you install be sure and post some pics.
Personally I have never been a fan of "covers" ecspecially the fork ones. I have always found most kuryakyn covers to be a tad tacky and I like the idea of actually chroming or blacking stuff instead of putting fake plastic chromed covers over the real part. Also one thing to think of is all those covers here and there can be a real pain for working on the bike whether its you or a shop. Some of the covers out there are ok looking and not to tacky, I just hate to see guys buy page 4-90 and put everything on they can. Sometimes simple is alot better looking in the long run.
Like I said this is just my opinion but the beauty part of having your own bike is that it is YOUR bike and whatever floats your boat...if you like it go for it.
I personally don't like covers or anything by Kuryakyn at all. If I want a part chome, I'll get it chromed. Did a ton of my stuff on my Road King a few years back.
I have used the Kury inner cover and cyl base cover on several of my bikes. But HD just recently came out with their own inner cover, and its one piece where Kury is two pieces. Put the new HD on my SE Ultra and looks real good. 139 bucks I think I paid!!

I have them on my bike and I'm very pleased with the looks and quality.
Kuryakyn makes the covers and HD resells them under a different part #, even the new 1 piece inner primary cover for 09-10 models.
