Good stuff, i bought my 07 Heritgae last Sept with 2640KMS!!! about 1600 miles.
Flamed pegs, boards grips, dash, windhield pouch, V&H true duals PCIII, D&M air intake and a HD bike cover,HD engine guards....the fellow had all the work done at an HD shop after he bought it from the dealers manager with about 1800kms on her!
I doubled that and more from Sept to 3rd week of Oct before winter arrived and still managed miles on my 06 SG
Now go have ablast with the blank canvas and ride er!

She still needs to be broken in! It only has 2600 miles! Who could do such a thing?

4 days ago..I traded my Sportster for a Heritage Softail Classic. You'll love it!
The ride is smooth...better weight and power for highway 'cruising'...
..you'll be sitting low 'in the bike'...great handling....
I don't have to say anymore...you'll see how nice the Heritage is.
enjoy,
here is a pic of mine...'04 ..v. low milage...'mint' condition
Congrats.....you'll love the Heritage. I just traded in my Sportster for a new 09 Heritage 7 weeks ago tomorrow, and over 4000 miles later, I have to say it is one fine scoot.
Wow what a ride! I left my kidneys on I-35 on the way down there on the sporty but I picked em up on the way back. What a difference! I had to stop twice on the way there to get feeling back in my *** but came straight back without stopping. So smooth, and I love sitting in the bike for a change. The 6 speed is amazing too. I know some people complained about the 5th gear making noise on the 07's but I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't read about it. One thing I DO miss is the gas mileage of the sporty. But I have a bigger engine and a much smoother, more comfortable ride for the trade. Saggy bag syndrome is in it's early stages so I'm gonna be getting that kit in a couple of months. I have a split shift at work tomorrow but I'll have some pics from the road up some time tomorrow in a new thread probably.
I can definitely rest easy knowing I made the right choice on this one. Many many miles will be had on this baby.
Thanks again for the welcome to the softail side of the family.
