Not that I noticed. I get just over 300Km to the tank on normal riding over distance.

Ok so pretty much the consensus is go with the Stage 1 kit with air cleaner, pipes, and then cams and better fm system. Then stroke it?

WELCOME TO THE FORUM

CONGRATZ on the new bike and lifestyle

ok now to your question:

there is a ton of things that you can do about the engine, from the SE big bore kits through other vendor kits to sending your engine to a specialist who will completely rebuild it to buying a new engine that meets your desires.

It really depends on what you are looking for, what you want out of it, and the type of driving you plan on doing. That will define whether you are looking for HP and Torque gain that will include compresion changes or not and so forth.

Apart from changing the cylinder size (cubic inch) there are other options that will have effects as well, some you will need to do depending on the route you will take, some others will add to which ever route you take. Those include such things as changing Cams, air intake and a bunch of other things.

granted there are also the crazy ideas of adding a turbo charger if you really need power LOL but that might be over the top.

the simple ones would be get the SE 103 kit, change the airfilter, add a power commander and use different cams than the one from SE's kit.

If possible let us know what you are looking for in engine change (power torque top speed..etc...) then we might be able to give you better ideas
