I have a springer classic 2005. The head lamp connector melted one time so I replace it myself. One year later it started to happen again. This time I took it to the dealer, and I'm still waiting to get the bike back. Did anyone else have this prombem ?

I have only heard of this happening with a higher wattage bulb than is recommended. Sounds like that might be what happened. I think the stock is 55/60 or something close to that.
