I'm having a hell of a time finding a horizontal plate for a 09 Fatboy. I really like Kuryakyn vertical mounts, but I am afraid of getting pulled over in Pa for this. (I like my cocktails). Could someone send me in the right dirction?
Check out the plate mount that hogrida_06 makes his website is hogrida.com this replaces the factory plate mount on the fender and lays the plate right down on the fender nearly makes it look like the plate is bolted directly to the fender. I just bought one last week for my 08 fatboy it looks awesome I know several others have bought one from him as well. I will get some pictures of my bike tomorrow so I can show you what it will look like on your bike. One note I did have to drill the holes in my license plate a little larger to fit but he did openly tell me about this and the hardware he provides covers the holes so it looks clean. I did find the slight curve of the bracket to be a little bit to much for the wide rear fender and had to bend it just slightly by hand but the results are well worth the short money he charges. Check out his site.
While not a FatBoy, I do have their relocator on my Deluxe and was happy with the purchase.
I just have to wonder what turn signal bar they speak of? MY 08 doesn't have a turn signal bar on the back of it, my signals are mounted on the sides of the fenders.
