I have looked (quickly) at the Alarm section, and can't find anything to help me. We just installed a security on my 2003 Heritage. I set the passcode & adjusted the sensitivity. I can arm / disarm the bike with the FOB. I tried to start the bike, and all I get is about 1 sec of run time. It tries to start, and then shuts down. I shut the bike all the way off, turn on the ignition, wait for the fuel pump to run (engine light goes out), the security light goes out also, and then try to start it. I get about one to two good rumbles, and then it shuts off. Any ideas?
not sure, somewhere in the back of my mind there is some bell ringing about something to do with the rear blicker to brake light change kit, can have a bad effect on the security system. might be something to look into.
Other than that I am sorry I am of little help.
Is there a way to control the distance the FOB needs to be from the sensor? maybe the distance is set to short.
I just called the Stealership, and they said that it has to be "Married" to the ECM. They said that have to hook it up to the computer, and make some changes to the ECM or something to that nature. Does this sound right!? Thanks for the help guys / gals!

Assuming only(harley brand) security, if so I would thank it would have came "mated" I would call a couple more dealers or a local electric specialist. as mentioned above check for distance parameters as it is bluetooth technology basically.

Not positive on your bike, but the following manual programming (no dealer required) should work. Be aware that the headlight will be on during the process, so hook up a battery tender if available.
I had the same problem when I hooked up my alarm. I had to trailer it to the dealer. He took off the seat and plugged it into his computer, punched a few buttons and it worked. It took him 5 minutes to get it to work and it cost me $100. LoL
Distance of FOB-to-bike has nothing to do with it since it is not the HFSM (w/ TSSM) but the push-button type (w/ TSM). Dealer set-up sounds reasonable since the sec sys is hooked into the TSM and esp. if the new sec sys came with a new TS module. Once set-up (configuration) by the dealer, changes may be owner accessed.
