Does anyone know of any good rear signal replacements for a Heritage, that are tighter to the fender? When I have the bags off, I would like to have a some rear signals that are tighter to the fender, but they still need to be able to allow clearance for when the bags are on, so that probably eliminates bullet rear signals mounted on the struts. Any ideas and/or pics would be appreciated.
This part should work for you. It is made by Kuryakyn. Go to jpcycles.com part 320-345 for $170.00. I'm thinking about putting it on my 08 Heritage also, along with a solid tail light cover, a curved license plate frame for under the tail light and a pyramid or tribal cover to cover up the three holes where the old license plate was.
I just recently bought an integrated rear LED tail light off ebay (usmotoman) and when you use the signal, half of the light blinks. It is an LED circuit board that you install inside the stockrear tail light. It was kind of a PITA to install but I am very happy with it. I think it was about $70 or so.
I just finished the wifes Hard Bags on her Heritage. I used the HD lights and a Kury License plate bracket I picked up from Eastern Performance (129.00). I think Kury makes the whole package, lights with license plate bracket.
