Hey everyone,
I have a deuce with the stock front spoked wheel. The spokes are getting rusty. I have an idea to paint the spokes(just the spokes) black, and leave the rim, hub and nipples chrome. I figure the spokes are ruined anyway so I can't hurt anything if i don't like it. Has anyone ever seen this or have their wheel like this? Or if anyone has a pic or knows a site that sells wheels like this let me know.
Thanks,
Jon
i got my front wheel from them and have my back wheel on order plus black p/c'ed 2 piece rotors. i'm really pleased with the quality. other wheel makers for spokes are sinister, american wire, ride wright, and black bike. i'm sure i'm leaving out quite a few companies, but these are some of the better known companies.

ya I am not sure how much patience I will have with painting them, Anyone have any pointers on what to use to remove the rust and then just polish them? I am on the fence if I want them black or keep them chrome..
Thanks
If the chrome is pitted you are never going to be happy just trying to clean off the rust. Painting is a nice idea. Use a good quality wheel primer after you scuff the chrome. The primer should keep the paint from flaking. Post pics.
