Default fatboy toolbox

hey all, i am thinking of adding a tool box to my 05 fatboy, i am taking longer trips and think i need to at least take along a few tools. my question is is there anything out there you guys are running, besides the chrome teardrop boxes harley offers. i dont really like the leather ones. i think they sag and look ugly after a little weather. do the teardrop ones get in the way of the rear passagners legs...... any suggestions would be apperciated, pictures would be great as well..... thanks in advance for any advice......kerry

you know my leather ones are not sagging after a couple of years. The have a plastic liner to support them. Other than the leather or chrome I do know of any choices for you. Besides a swingarm bag.

If you look in my album you will see our bike with a back pack secured to the sissy bar sitting on a luggage rack. My wife and I did a 800 mile ride like this and loved every minute of it. I have since changed the seat to make her more comfy. Sorry no pics of the new seat but it is a sundowner with a 14" pillion, she loves it.

Black leather tool bag is a good alternative to fork bags or swing arm bags. No sagging, has plastic support inside, or discoloration. Black is good, matches seat and these bikes have enough chrome.
