Congrat on the bike. 1st thing I did -- Thunderheader, S/E AC, 204 cams, and SERT. Big difference in performance sound. Then after about a year I changed the wheels, added some chrome, and bought extended foot controls. I consider it done.
Congrats Paul - sounds like you got a good deal - has the bike already got the stage 1 kit and new pipes?? Dealers usually push those mods immediately, the orig owner may have already handled that for you. Ride Safe!!
Bike is stock. I am looking at the Python staggard duels and stage 1 kit for now. Who knows what i will add in the future. I do alot of snowmobiling (have 3 of them) and customize them with add ons, but the options you have for these bikes is unreal, you can lose control very easily. A little at a time for me.....
I am a true green horn with HD, rode rice burners for a while, got out of the sport completly and now back in with a true classic bike, headed to St. Louis for 3 days for school and cant wait to get back to ride the duece.
Congrats on the new Deuce. I bought a stock used 05 Deuce last year. The first thing I did was V&H Big Radius and stage one upgrade, I have since added a couple of small items. After riding last year and this spring I am geting to add, Kuryakan 3" forward controls extension, new wheels, a 200mm wide tire kit and a chrome swing arm. Here is my Deuce. Enjoy your scoot!!!
