Just got my 14" smart gimps from Nash, they are going on my 09 Xbones, Having trouble finding black braded cables/brake line and clutch cable, also if anyone know how long the cables should be or part numbers that would help me out a lot, just for the record I have decicded to install the bars and cables myself,(BAD MOVE ON MY PART) I have the know how to turn a wrench but this is unchartered territory for me, if you could send ANY tips my way I would be greatful, I have half the bike apart and it just seems like it will take me for ever, I have come to this forum for almost every issue I have ever had with my bikes and the advice I got was better than any manual I could read. Thanks
got a service manual? if not get that asap
that WILL help believe me im still in the process
of puttin 16"s on my rock.the throttle and idle cable gave me the most trouble
clutch and front brake i measured ***** on w/ bout an 1" to spare.
i would put new bars on(mock up) then either measure or take
old one off and see how close it is ,then add difference.
good luck here's a link w/some info hope it helps https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-the-rock.html
