Got em on mine, It's great for long trips as I kinda just lay back and rest my legs on top. I'm 6' 1". I also added hwy pegs at it's really comfortable.
I have it on my heritage. I like the look, but I'm not super happy as my feet feel a bit up too high and too close to the bike if I put my heel on it. If I stretch and put my foot over the top it's good to stretch.
I liked it too until I got a heavy breather and I couldn't put my foot back on the rest. I had to switch it out for standard guard and highway pegs. Also if you ever plan on getting those nifty fog lights they won't go on a mustache. I have my old one for sale, $40+shipping? It is pretty new, prolly only 2k miles on them and never dropped or whatever. Let me know I'll take pics of it, I was going to put them on ebay or something...
My two videos below show the guard hehe, man I need to update those vids.
Have the same problem with mine. With the screaming eagle filter on it it feels like you have to wrap your leg around the filter to reach the bar. I'm only 5'10" so my legs aren't long enough to do that. I was looking at a new bar in dennis kirk. It's a Euro Guard, the pads flip out to extend for highway pegs.

I too liked the look of the mustache bar. However, the dealer had one on a Heritage and I could not use the foot rests. I am 5'9 and the rests were too close too the engine and very uncomfortable, so you may want to try before you buy.

thanks for the comments everyone.
and good advice about this 'guard' "...try before you buy. "
I'm sure that's gd. advice and I'll do just that. Even if the dealer has one that they could hold on my Heritage so I could see and 'pretend' to put my foot on it. ( maybe the dealer would order one for a 'look see'. ) If not, I'll wait and maybe see it on another bike this summer.
i like that one too. but i also like this one from kuryakyn. says in the directions if you have extended brake pedal or shifters, they might hit. the mustache one from harley is cool though, but on the standard ones, you can put highway pegs on them and your legs will be more spread apart than the mustache. pricey for the Kuryakyn though!
My Bad. It's the same guard made by Kuryakyn I guess. I didn't see the manufacture's name at the top of the page. It is $28 cheaper in Dennis Kirk though. Not sure where either one ends after shipping though.
