Diagnostic Trouble Codes
Well I'm frustrated as hell right now...specs on the bike are LED bulbs in the front, bar job with wire extensions (all soldered joints had heat shrink covering them) and the Badlands Equalizer III plugged in the back (but the rear wiring harness is off so the plug is just chillin there). Battery was unhooked for 2 - 3 weeks while I did the work. I attempted to clear the codes and they came back. Symptoms are the usual - both turn signal indicators stay illuminated and red key security indicator stays lit while bike is running.
I've got codes:
B1006 - Accessory Line Overvoltage Instruments
WTF? Did I pinch something under the dash? Shouldn't the E III handle this?
B1125 (HFSM) - Left Turn Output Short to Battery
Hands Free Security Module would make me think a low battery in the fob, but that battery is only two full months old. Also, how does the HFSM tell me there's a short in the left turn sig and its to the battery? Can someone explain that a bit please?
I'm assuming I should follow Badland's advice and run the wire down to the brown/white wire and tap into it OR run the inline fuse. Anybody else solve these issues with Badlands suggested solutions?

could not having the rear wiring harness plunged in be causing this issue?
I had an issue with my signals & security key when I installed a unit to convert my rear signals to running / brake lights...

Cheesecake thats what I'm hoping for...at least for the turn signals indicators staying lit. as for the security system, I think I'll try the Badlands suggested fix. I just want to know that its going to work before I go digging and splicing.
The other thing (TSSM light) might be a fcked up wire in the bars, but everything works fine as is so I'm riding it until this winter when I tear it down for paint and suspension.
