Hi, I have an 04 Deuce. The rear left turn signal wont work? I have taken it all apart and everything is as it should be. I have a good earth through the internal wire. I have an intermittent current when indicator is on? still no Turn signal? I have put the wires from the holder directly onto the bulb, still no light. I have checked the bulb, which works fine in the opposite side indicator, and yes I have tried other bulbs. still no light? anyone had this problem.
Thanks for this Koafarms, I went back and swapped over the power leads to the turn signals at the connectors in the rear light compartment. and now it works, ... but the other one now does not. So I then checked for continuity from the harness connection under the seat to each Indicator, they have good continuity, both Violet and Black earth. So I then cleaned connectors. still no rear left indicator. At least I now know that the rear end is all working fine, so the problem must be between the connector coming out of the fender and the Security module. My bike does not seem to have a alarm system? someone may have taken it off in the past> I don't have a key fob, just a key? no visible security alarm box?
So the problem lies from the rear light connection to the Security/ indicator module?
what next to check?

I have solved the issue with the indicator. The battery was not keeping full charge, it was down to 10v even though it was enough to start the bike it was not enough to power one out of 4 indicators? once the battery was replaced it all worked fine. strange.
As someone once shrugged and told me, after bumping the generator and frying all the electronics in a remote work site camp..."Electricity can do strange things....."

You still might try to track down a bad connection someplace, if you feel like doing it. Everything else works at 10 volts, except that one turn signal?
thanks for the advice, I have gone through the wiring quite thoroughly now and the only thing that could have been the issue was the control module, but as its now working , that's unlikely, I think it was just that it did not like a flat battery.

+1 There's another problem there, that a fully charged battery may hide for the moment . . . but I can assure you, it ain't going to get any better and will almost certainly get worse in the course of time.
The battery is not new, it was on the bike when I recently bought the bike. It is a genuine Harley battery, so could be 3-5 years old, now gone and new one fitted. If I do get future problems, then it has to be the signal module, as I have checked and cleaned everything else. Thanks for the assistance.
