Default Hooker Troublemakers....

All I have to say is wow! Got the SE Backplate, K&N filter and pipes on last night....got too late to fire it up....makes an 07 Night Train scream....the wife says its too loud....took it out tonight and had to coast into the driveway.....I got the competition baffles and would be interested in a set of the quiet baffles...I love the sound but they really are too loud. The tone at idle is great but when you cruise in 2nd or 3rd its pretty loud....definitely a great sounding pipe. Will be putting the XiED's on in another 150 miles which will lower the tone even more. Any idea where a guy can find a set of the quiet baffles?

Pics coming soon

just ride it awhile and get things tuned, the sound will mellow out as the pipes carbon up and proper tuning.

I called Hooker today and they dont have any of the quiet baffles left. If anyone has some that they want to get rid of for the Troublemaker I'd be interested.

Thanks

They have been out of the quiet baffles for almost two months. I wanted them when I ordered my Troublemakers for my wife's bike. You will get used to the sound but if you really need a quieter baffle, you can get some Big City Thunder baffles (pricey) or you could try wrapping the stock baffles with high temp cloth wrapping like V&H uses on their quiet baffles. I was going to do that on the wife's deluxe but once I heard it for a couple hundred miles, she and I decided it sounded fine.
